Other thoughts[edit]

I like the idea that there's something more for faction after maxing the titles, but I don't think it has to be as involved as introducing new items, new NPCs:

  1. Use existing faction NPCs and allow zoin purchase
  2. Use existing PvP NPCs and allow Kurz/Lux faction to be converted to Balth faction

In either case, new dialogue options would be available only to players with Rank 10 and ANet would decide on conversion rates (which might include gold/platinum surcharges). Also, ANet could decide whether these conversions would also increase the character's alliance's faction rating.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 21:47, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

70K Faction Tonics[edit]

Maybe instead of weapons or in addition to weapons El Tonics. Might be cliche but Archemorus/Victor could be fun.Chedder 08:14, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

or you could roll a warrior and try some elite kurzick/luxon armor :P --you like that don't you..The Holy Dragons 09:19, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

Lack of Creativity[edit]

MORE OF THE SAME...MORE OF THE SAME. This suggestion was posted in 20 May 2010, almost two years ago and we have to backtrack to the past and see what we have now that we did NOT had before.

Consumables? Please no. Alcohol, party items and sweets we have more than enough and by "creating" more of the same would make such titles be max-able in half its time?

A Merchant sells and buys... so probably he meant collector NPC instead. Requirement of title rank makes sense and is alike EotN NPCs. The Jadeite Summoning Stone and the Amber Summoning Stone having more presence in Factions would be nice, but no need to create different types as stacks of each kind already take many inventory spaces. 10k Factions for such stone sounds reasonable to me.

Weapon reward is the most logical feature in my opinion. Why? It is true that faction points can be gained by completing missions, quests, VQs and challenges...but the bulk is commonly generated in competitive missions: Alliance Battles, Fort Aspenwood and Jade Quarry. Three arenas that are consider basic together with Random Arenas and Codex Arena. The next stage for these players are directly Guild vs Guild and Heroes Ascent. So green weapons could be rewarded to these brave players that somehow points gamers to high end PvP. So constructing a bridge between these still PvE gamers into noob PvP, weapons should offer upgrade bonuses oftenly seen in RA, HA & GvG:

  • 40/40
  • Low requirement shields as of q8s with AR:16
  • Martial weapons set for casters
  • High Energy sets (separetly: wand/scepter + focii)

Which they do exist... but not as common as spammable items.

NPC elections to reward players: Luxon Clan representatives & Kurzick House representatives.

Note: Please take yourselves a few minuntes and think what the word "NEW" means. User Yoshida Keiji Signature.jpg Yoshida Keiji talk 10:29, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
