I like your thinking, especially with many professions having the same attribute. I take it this means that Sins could wield hammers and Wars could hold daggers? Teh Eviscerator 10:45, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

This idea looks like it would make balancing even more of a problem. For instance, in the suggestion's current form you could have a Mesmer with fast casting take water magic and curses. Since they're both shared major attributes they can use runes on them, too. Throw in whatever the racial attributes would give, and I don't even want to think about the terrible gameplay that would ensue... Mr J 11:02, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
They wouldn't be able to rune water since it would count as a minor attribute. They would have to balance each skill more but they wouldn't need to create as many skills.--90.237.190.34 11:24, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
I can see what you're saying after looking closer at the examples, but that should probably be a bit more clear. The opening paragraph only mentions getting Major attributes from both professions and then it says before the examples that Primary and Majors attributes can be rune enhanced. As of now we know Weapons will have restrictions per class. So how wil this effect players who chose a non melee class?--Knighthonor 08:04, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
