Redirect not redirecting

Any way to fix this redirect so clicking the .jpg on echo chain page sends you to File:Echo chain.gif automatically?71.169.169.83 20:58, 23 September 2017 (UTC)

Files cannot redirect to other files. You can, however, link to the .gif file via a simple text link in the thumbnail's description found on the Echo chain article. - Infinite - talk 10:33, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
