Fair use?

Could we not tag the image of something like this? This is a screenshot of the operating system Windows, and the copyright for it is held by the company that developed the software. The use of the image qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law, as such display does not significantly impede the right of the copyright holder to sell the copyrighted material, is not being used to generate profit in this context, and presents ideas that cannot be exhibited otherwise. --Lemming64 13:07, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

But "right now, you cannot upload any data (image, text, or otherwise) that you cannot legally license under the GFDL" [1]. Fair use would be a good idea and should be discussed. -- Indochine talk 13:09, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
