Furyan's Birthday Bash

It's that time again. The Planets have aligned. The Nights grow darker. Small woodland animals scurry around preparing. And while all that's going on, Furyan is turning one year older. We would mention that another scary individual is sharing the same birthday, but he stole it so that doesn't count. So, as the Planets and all that happens, it's time to throw a little party. Why? Cos we can.

It's Furyan's birthday on March 13th, so to celebrate he and Dj Giggles are hosting Furyan's Birthday Bash, a six hour party being held in Lion's Arch American English District 1. The party begins at 10pm Pacific (UTC-8) on Friday March 12th.

There's going to be music, fun and prizes. Tune in to Dj Furyan and Dj Giggles by going to the Blade Radio website and listen in for your chance to win prizes... at Furyan's expense.

Party Games / Events

While the music and inapproriately long mic breaks are broadcast over the stream of Blade Radio, there will be a number of things going on in district along with the main prizes.

• Fungal Wallow Super-Fun-Time-Rawr - Throughout the party either Furyan or Giggles will be randomly open trade with party goers, if you put a Miniature Fungal Wallow in trade you’ll receive a nice shiny Cookie.

Don’t have a Fungal Wallow? Well... that’s just not right. If you’re one of the winners of the night, an undedicated Fungal Wallow comes with every Birthday Gift Pack from either Dj Furyan or Dj Giggles.

• Chase-a-DJ - Throughout the party, one of the two hosts will be running around the district with sweets, booze and all that good stuff to give out. Just take part and tag the DJ with a trade and you win a little something something.
• Trivia - Test your Guild Wars knowledge on sets of questions in local chat, be the first to get it right and you win 2k for every correct answer.
• And whatever the night brings!

Prizes

The prizes pool consists of a lot of 'stuff'; from minipets (all undedicated), sweets, boozes, weapons, ectos and the likes. In true Furyan and Giggles style each winner gets a trade panel full of stuff, however there are some larger prizes for listeners to compete for.

Each winner, as mentioned before, gets themselves their own, most misunderstood miniature there is, a Fungal Wallow.

Stuff! Giveaways

Each mic break or via random giveaway in local, the winners of a Stuff! Giveaway scores themselves a trade panel of stuff: things from tastes of various boozes, sweets, some party points, weapons, miniatures ranging from first to fourth year, and of course, a Fungal Wallow.

Cash Prizes

There are six prizes of 50K, one each hour of the party. Every hour a question will be asked, and the correct PM will win themselves the 50K. Be sure to keep a list of the answers throughout the night as they tie into the big prize. The same player can not win this cash prize more than once, but is not removed from winning any of the minor Stuff! Giveaways or taking a shot at the Marathon Prize.

Marathon Prize

Listeners are encouraged to keep a list of the answers to the 50K questions as you'll need to be aware of them all to be in to win the main prize, the Marathon Prize, the largest giveaway Furyan will have done to date. Up for grabs in this prize is, as the main attraction:

• Furyan's undedicated Miniature Eye of Janthir

But it wouldn't be Furyan's style to not give some stuff along with that! So, the trade will be topped up with some of the good stuff including a Fungal Wallow, Keg of Aged Hunter's Ale and other good stuff.

Prize Rules

For the purposes of this event there is no limit to how many smaller individual prizes you win, however, you can only win one of the main cash prizes once. As above this does not remove you from taking part in, or winning, the Marathon Prize Giveaway. It is important to point out to existing or new Blade Radio listeners, as per guidelines, winners of the 50K cash giveaways and the Marathon Prize are excluded from winning for a period of 2 weeks.
