Article name[edit]

If a title card is available, cinematic articles should be named after their title card. If this name is already taken, <title card> (cinematic) should be used. If no title card is available, cinematic pages should be called <mission or quest name> (cinematic) for single cinematics, or <mission or quest name> (cinematics) if multiple cinematics play during that mission or quest.

Basic outline[edit]

Article header[edit]

If it is necessary to hide the automatic table of contents, place the __NOTOC__ at the top of the page. This prevents an unnecessary blank space at the top when the article is saved. In general you don't want a TOC when the article only has a few short sections, or you don't need to scroll down to read the article. Decisions on placing a TOC should be done on an article-by-article base.

Cinematic infobox template[edit]

Use the Cinematic infobox to create the info box. See the template page for detailed instructions. Example usage:

{{Cinematic infobox

| image2-text = Cinematic 2 — Rurik blows the big horn.

Cinematic[edit]

Change to Cinematic 1 if multiple cinematics are present on one page.

Characters[edit]

Here a list of characters that appear in the cinematic will be listed. If only one player character appears, he or she should be listed as

any Party leader

at the top of whichever section is appropriate. If multiple player characters are involved in the cinematic, the player characters without speaking lines should be listed as

any Party members

in Minor Characters, and if the party leader does speak, he or she should be listed as

any Party leader

in the Major Characters section. If he or she does not have speaking lines, the party leader should be omitted.

Major characters[edit]

A list of characters that have speaking roles in the cinematic. Except for the Party leader, they are listed in alphabetical order.

Minor characters[edit]

A list of characters that appear in the cinematic but do not have any speaking roles. Except for the Party leader or Party members, they are listed in alphabetical order.

Dialogue[edit]

The meat of the article, transcribe the cutscene dialogue here. If there is a scene change in the cinematic, leave two spaces between the last line of dialogue and the next. If there is spoken dialogue but no character is listed, indent twice. Copy verbatim, including formatting. Mark ingame spelling errors and typos with sic to distinguish them from transcription errors. If the Player character has lines, they are listed as <Party leader>.

 • Use the same format for Cinematic name, characters, and dialogue for each addition cinematic in the mission. Just add a 2 or 3 to the end of the missions name.

Notes[edit]

Mention any bugs or notes. If there is nothing in this section it should be omitted.

Trivia[edit]

Capture any trivia or easter eggs in this section. If there is nothing in this section it should be omitted.

Navigation[edit]

Include the navigation aid template for the cinematic's campaign.
