Guild:Dawn Of The Forest/ History

Welcome Hello, this page has been set up to give the background history of Dusk. (This is really just a fiction based on the facts in Guild Wars. So this is made for your enjoyment and gives more of realistic feeling for our guild.) If you are ashamed of Dusk after viewing this page, (Actually, I don't really blame you...) Well, at least we have a sense of humor. So view this page at your own extent. Dusk In Tyria Before The War In Ascalon, Dusk was not an organized civilization, but consisted of scholars and farmers eager to assist where ever needed. The members of this small society enjoyed a simple and peaceful lifestyle. We would sit down and admire the scenery or we would help our friends and neighbors. we had a place to live and bond with each other. We had jobs, homes, and food. No one ever dreamed of the chain of events that would change Ascalon and Dusk forever... At The Start Of The War But, peace cannot be kept forever. It was a sad day when we left our homes and friends behind, Knowing, that we would never return. The only thing we had left was what we could take in our packs and each other. We moved on, no matter what the circumstances we had to endure, battle, rain, and snow. As our lives grew harder and we grew closer and stayed firm as we moved on not knowing what lay ahead for us... After The War After the war we had no where to go. Everything we knew had been destroyed or lost. We were alone, separated from the world we knew. For a while we were hired as mercanaries for a small village, but they died of poisoned food supplies. (Luckily, they didn't let us eat thier food.) We fled from an angry mob by ship and we eventually found uninhabited island, and began building a small city. We had found a refuge and a place that we could finally call our home. Cantha (1592 B.C.) Sanctuary! We began to move back into the world once everything calmed down. We explored cheerfully knowing that we would gain new knowledge to implement in our culture and our military. We came upon a island to called Shing Jea. We began to be taught at a monastery and we began to learn new skills. Shiro created a plague that mutated its victims into a deformed army of Afflicted. No matter were we go there is no sanctuary except for our island... (Wow, can you talk bug too?) Kurzicks And Luxons In Cantha we have observed two separate factions. The fighting style of these factions is completely different along with their attitudes. They are in a war with each other and no one knows what they are fighting over.(Personally, I assume it is who killed Shiro the first time he died, but I do not know for sure.) No matter what the cause people join both sides fueling the war so that it may never end. Kurzicks The Kurzicks live in a dark forest with enemy's such as Dredge and Bugs that overrun their forest. The Kurzicks live in artistic buildings and are slightly Goth in their appearance. They are group who celebrate every death of Luxons and every minor victory. Luxons The Luxons live in a sea made of jade with enemy's such as fish and Birds that overrun their sea. The Luxons live in huts and are barbaric in their appearance. The Luxons are more modest in their victory's, but they still despise the Kursicks. A New Beginning For Dusk After the members of Dusk fought fearlessly against the army's of Shiro; they killed him and the world was peaceful once again. But in the process Dusk lost most of its remaining members, but the few that remain are respected by others for their honor and kindness. Dusk is slowly increasing its numbers by occasionally recruiting new members and teaching them in the ancient ways of the elders of Dusk. (Well, even our own members have different feelings about what we do.)
