The Seraphim Knights Code of Honor

These are simple laws and morals, created by the Seraphim Knights, which all Players in the Guild are asked to live by. Failure to abide by these laws may result in reprimand, punishment and even exile from the Guild.

  1. All Seraphim Knights are to remain courteous and polite at all times to all they meet, including rival guilds within the game. There are many international people in the Guild from other countries. Under no circumstances should others in the game and in Seraphim Knights feel discriminated because of their residence.
  2. We settle disputes with maturity and honor.
  3. Under no circumstances shall unwanted harassment be tolerated: racial, age, sexual, religious or political. Those who continue are subject to reprimand or banishment for the Guild.
  4. In no way will we tolerate cursing at one another out of anger. If this happens, the person being reported to an Officer, will be dealt with severely.
  5. Please be aware that many Players have children or relatives that are under adult age. Please be considerate by not using foul language that might offend or cause a player to be banned.
  6. If anyone, including non Seraphim Knights and rival guilds, request help (for instance, providing someone with knowledge on how to do something, other than guild secret discoveries.), this must be provided politely, if you are able to do so, without delay or request of payment. If someone wishes to thank you for helping them, with a gift, you may accept, but at NO TIME will anyone request payment.
  7. Elite items, or items of high value which you discover that are of no use to you, may be of use to a fellow member, always ask if anyone would benefit from the item. If someone would like the item, you can either give the item as a gift, ask the Players for bids, or ask for a fair amount from your fellow guild members.
  8. When selling items of worth, keep all prices reasonable. We are not out for profit, but to assist those who might otherwise, not have enough to purchase their own items. Begging is to be ignored and not tolerated.
  9. While in a group with other members, we ask that Seraphim Knight Players converse in the English language as this will allow us to communicate with each other. We do not mind private discussions in your home language, but sometimes it is nice to have others jump in and chat with you.
  10. Guild decisions regarding recruitment can be made only by the guild head and/or the Council. However, recommendations and/or referrals from all Seraphim Knight's Players will be acknowledged.
  11. The council combined holds a voting weight of 100%. Major decisions such as Punishment/Exile must be made with a 51% vote. If not everyone votes, then the Guild Leader makes the decision.
  12. All Guild Players have a say in the guild and occasionally may be asked to vote on a particular item. If any Seraphim Knight member has an issue that needs addressing (including with another player), they must speak to either Leadership or the Officers, it will be reviewed and a decision made. All decisions other than recruitment must be brought to the Guild Leader, either directly or through the council and if needs be (dependent on the issue), a vote taken with the council.
  13. Being found to be using some form of BOT program will result in one or more of the following actions being taken. Offender given ONE warning, successive offenses after this warning will result in immediate removal from the guild and all ventrilo permissions revoked. The incident may be discussed with the other officers and a harsher punishment may be deemed necessary dependent upon past experiences with the offender. Any proof of said BOTTING may also be forwarded to ANet and further punishments may be given by them, ranging anywhere from nothing, to complete revoking of the players account.
  14. DON'T BE NEEDY. It's ok to ask for help in guild and alliance chat, it's not ok to ask repeatedly, please keep requests for help to no more than one every 5 minutes. This also goes for asking for help from the guild leadership. We don't mind helping you with something you're finding particularly difficult, but we do also want to play the game ourselves on occasion and if you're asking us for help with every little quest you can find, you're cutting into our own fun time.
