Guild Wars Wiki:Elections/2007-12 bureaucrat election/Brains12

Hello, all. I'll begin with a little bit about myself. Now, I haven't been a registered user for long, but I believe I have made a viable and considerable amount of conrtibution to the Guild Wars Wiki. I am familiar with most of the users here, and how they choose to contribute, themselves, to the GWW. I can't say whether or not they are familiar with me, however, but still, that isn't such a big issue with such a large variety of users. I strongly believe in authority, and if others choose not to, that's fine, but I would hope they did.

I don't want to talk too much about why I should be a bureaucrat, however. I believe that if the community wants me, they will 'vote' for me or achieve some sort of consensus. If they don't want me, then I expect the opposite, and no hard feelings. I think I am an objective person, and I don't let myself be biased about someone or something. And I'm not just saying that because I think it'll make me look good as a bureaucrat :P. My contributions are always here if you want to see them, Special:Contributions/Brains12, and they should prove that.

After much thought, I have decided to withdraw from the election. I knew that I would not win anyway, but that's beside the point. The reason for my backing out is that if I ever became an admin of some sort, I would want it to be as Sysop. I am much more suited to the maintenance side of things, and it's mainly what I've been doing as a user anyway. -- br12 • (talk) • 22:32, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
