Character Name Change

The Character Name Change feature was introduced with the Fourth Anniversary content update and allows players to change the name of one of their characters without deleting that character or losing access to their equipment, skills, and other customized errata. The service costs $9.99 USD or €9.99 and allows for a single name change.

This service allows you to change the name of a single character.

How to redeem

Once purchased, choose the character you would like to rename from the Character Selection window and click the Rename button in the bottom left corner of the screen. Enter that character's existing name and new name into the fields provided in the window that appears.

Important - PLEASE READ

• This item include one (1) name change for a single character.
• A single character may only be renamed once every 30 days. However, you may pay to rename other characters during this period.
• The name you choose must be available and must comply with the Guild Wars naming policy.
