Talk:Canthan Ferry Captain

I was exploring Lion's Arch today when I noticed this Captain aboard a pirate ship transformed into a creature from Presearing Ascalon (can't remember what it's called right now).
Anyways, the Captain is offering "ready made" Guild Halls during the Halloween 2009 event, all you need is the seal showing you have the gods' favor.
Would this be the same as going to a Canthan Embassador?

this sounds odd to me, I know that during halloween certain npcs get different appearances - unless the name changes, based on the above I think its just the skin and not this npc -Chieftain Alex 17:47, 26 November 2013 (UTC)

I was the one who originally added it to the article (during Halloween 2010). Based on what I noted on Lion's Arch (Halloween), the Canthan Ferry Captain appeared in place of Canthan Ambassador (i.e. the NPC that was there had the appearance of Canthan Ferry Captain and its name appeared as "Canthan Ferry Captain"), but had the Canthan Ambassador dialogue. --Silver Edge 04:18, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

To correct myself, Canthan Ambassador appeared as a Mergoyle and its name appeared as "Canthan Ferry Captain". --Silver Edge 10:06, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
