copyright violation?[edit]

I don't htink this one is a copyright violation. The article appears to contain primarilly the content created by User:Karlos at GuildWiki, and he has dual-licensed his work under GFDL, so I believe this one is okay. However, I didn't want to remove the notice myself without someone else verifying this observation. --Barek 10:05, 12 February 2007 (PST)

That observation seems correct as far as I can tell. I've removed the copyright violation tag. --Rezyk 23:50, 25 February 2007 (EST)

Elementals the only class design to deal damage?[edit]

Why is it any other class that can deal at least one hundred damage gets nerf whereas elementals can deal close to or over one hundred damage with just one spell? Critical scythe assassins were unblockable with fox promise, but still they relied on enchantments and removing them destroyed the build. Also rangers who used sundering and it's duplicate skill could do close to one hundred damage, but still those two skills were nerfed (and yes elementals can still do over one hundred damage with non-elite skills). In the game manual as well as this site says elementals are known to deal the highest amount of aoe damage and never the highest amount of damage against single targets in the game. If this continues, eventually elementals will be the only class worthwhile bring in pve for any type of damage.William Wallace 20:46, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Because Elementalists are meant to be the strongest profession in the game. — Eloc 01:11, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Hence the fact they can't really heal them selfs. Halogod35 03:17, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Ele's are ok... but with the right build, they are as good as owned :p , for example... spell breaker or Vow of Silence, bye bye damage, altho theres skills like inferno and Flame Djinn's Haste those are easy to heal ^^--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:124.169.189.69 (talk).

Exactly. There is really no superior profession in the game as one profession can easily be beaten by another profession. For example, Elementalists are generally weak against Rangers due to their interupts and high armour level against Elemental Damage. — Eloc 02:48, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
