Farming?[edit]
anyone know a good place to farm these? better than that one cave in Old Ascalon?
- Regent Valley, just follow the road south from the Lakeside Country portal. Paddymew 09:08, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- The ranger guy will kill most of them here. I advice going into the Catacombs from Wizard's Folly. 84.85.197.187 10:46, 10 November 2009 (UTC)::
- The ranger guy will stand still and not follow the road. Paddymew 14:08, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
- Devourers will come into his aggro. Which means he will kill a great many of them without you gaining xp or loot. 84.85.197.187 11:21, 11 November 2009 (UTC)::::
- Depends on which profession you are. As soon as you can 1-hit enemies with Flare, there's no problem. Paddymew 13:04, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
- The first guy was talking about Old Ascalon which is in Post Searing, and everyone else is talking about Pre-Searing places?--Random Weird Guy 12:51, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Many people use Lakeside County and Old Ascalon interchangably since it's pretty much the same area. Since these only drop in pre (post-searing devourers drop Fetid Carapaces) it's safe to assume the first poster meant the cave in Lakeside. About the ones near the ranger trainer - as someone else said he doesn't move. There are several around him that he'll kill, but theres many more on the path down towards the bridge. In total I think theres more there than in the cave. 109.145.208.77 13:07, 21 February 2012 (UTC)
