Not sure if its related at all, but "esa" means "only one" or "one" in Indonesian and Malay and "that" in Spanish. "esha" also means "prayer" in Swahili. - Couldn't it also be something like ambush, or death (from above) in the heket's language? For all we know the frogmen don't speak the common language, and looking at Bogroot Growths we could deduce that even though they live in a tribal society, they follow leaders instead of gods.
