Contest[edit]

Used in the game manuals. Refers to all types of enhancements, including runes, weapon upgrades, inscriptions, insignia and so forth. - - BeXoR 16:08, 9 February 2007 (PST)

When used in a sentence enhancements such as "runes or upgrade components". - - BeXoR 16:23, 9 February 2007 (PST)
Runes, weapon upgrades, incriptions and insignia are all referred to as upgrade components in both their own in-game descriptions and in the descriptions of salvage kits. I just looked up the term enhancement, and it seems to cover all item-based bonuses, both permanent (from upgrade components) and temporary (from scrolls). -- Gordon Ecker 16:39, 9 February 2007 (PST)
Ah true. I've been too lazy to start the game up so I've been going from my books. I'll have to remember to fix the categories then, if they've been created already. - BeXoR 16:44, 9 February 2007 (PST)
Good idea! - - BeXoR 16:45, 9 February 2007 (PST)

Do you think it might be a good idea to link to permanent armor bonuses in this article? The term we're using is Armor bonus now instead of function, seeing as I found precedent in the update notes. - BeXoR 17:27, 9 February 2007 (PST)

equipping more[edit]

Is it possible 2 add more than one enhancement 2 a stalve im a lvl 10 pyromancer named soul spellman

Each slot (prefix, suffix and inscription) can only contain 1 upgrade. As soon as you add another, you'll lose the one that's already in it. 145.94.74.23 17:03, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
