I don't have prophecies to test this out, but the description of this spell makes it seem like it is a PBAoE spell. If it can be cast on actual enemies, shouldn't the description read 'Target foe and all nearby foes...'? Silavor UserSilavorSigIcon.png 16:25, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

It is a PBAoE skill, so the description is correct :P --Talk br12(talk) • 16:26, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Chilling Winds supposedly doesn't affect more than one foe for hex spells such as Shard Storm, however as this spell doesn't have a target, does Chilling Winds then affect all foes or none? --80.16.169.162 16:17, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Shard Storm is single-target, so I'm not sure what you're getting at.
Chilling Winds lengthens the hex on the foe that it's on. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 17:49, 27 Jul 2010 (UTC)

Note[edit]

this note: Although this skill appears to be a Water Magic Hex , it does not trigger skill Mirror of Ice , as tested on Isle of the nameless suits of armor. seems pointless to me. its the default way for this mechanic to work, the same goes for glyph of immolation - only works on the target.

It is also noted on Mirror of Ice already. Vili User talk:Vili 01:20, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
