This skill sucks. Why? Simple, mana cost. And the fact you can't target yourself. 18.104.22.168 03:53, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- It's one of the few really respectable heals you can pack on to a monk secondary and was used occasionally when Ether Prodigy was big. The changes to passive defense nets and creeping damage compression post-Prophecies has largely obsoleted skills like this, though. Infuse Health's 1/4th cast and even larger healing amount without as much attribute point investment is superior in most situations where you'd consider Heal Other. MA Anathe 04:09, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- Why does the fact you can't target yourself with a skill named "Heal OTHER" make it a bad skill? Nbajammer 04:30, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
This skill is awesome. Why? Simple, massive heals. And the fact you can use it as a substitute for Infuse if you're yeller. --22.214.171.124 04:10, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
--- I read 5/4 activation time for both this and jamei's gaze, in game. Too bad i wanted to try it as an alternative to infuse health :s
:I dont think this can substitute the 400+ heals from infuse, but it is a good spike heal. The cost makes up for that -- you could use Orison three times for 15 energy >.> ~ Chao 20:30, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
I'm removing Spirit Light from the related skills (and Heal Other/Jamei's Gaze from Spirit Light's).
The reason for this is the only thing the skills share is 180 Hp healed at lvl 15 attribute points. They dont share the same heal per point progression, dont have the same energy cost cast time or recharge an Spirit Light has a health sacrifice. Also Heal Other/Jamei's Gaze is target other, where Spirit Light can be cast on anyone. --Abbess Katherine 00:45, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
