Seeing the Numbers

I have a hard time with this skill because it doesn't display the health gain from the monk's perspective the way other skills like Seed of Life do. So it's very hard to judge the skill's effectiveness on a group. The Ursan groups at DoA insist it be on the monk skillbar, but I wonder if there aren't more effective options, since I'm not seeing the actual health numbers. Pucktrapper 19:50, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Bug of healing seed with Healer's Boon??

I have observed that when I use healing seed combined with Healer's Boon, healing seed does not take the +50% more health of healer's boon, giving always the amount of healing showed in the description only

Healer's Boon Elite Enchantment Spell. For 10...46...55 seconds. Healing Prayers Spells cast 50% faster and heal for 50% more Health.

Healing Seed Enchantment Spell. For 10 seconds, whenever target other ally takes damage, that ally and all adjacent allies gain 3...25...30 Health.

With Orison, it's you doing the healing. With seed, it's the seed doing the healing. HB only affects you. The mechanic is somewhat obscure though. --8765 23:55, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Healer's Boon affects your Healing Prayers spells, not you. Your enchantments are spells and therefore heal for more (or in this case, should heal for more), though I haven't tested if Healing Seed really isn't affected by Healer's Boon or Deep Wound. <>Sparky, the Tainted 20:08, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
