Talk:Inscribed Wall
From Guild Wars Wiki

If its classified as a Creature, shouldn't we change the type to "Creature"? "Thing" isn't very descriptive. >.> -- Wandering Traveler 16:10, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- lol at the type:Thing. Not particularly descriptive. --Lemming 17:13, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
- lol "Category: Things" xD Paddymew 11:47, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
image[edit]
The Gif was loading longer than the Jpg. Changed it to the jpg. 15:44, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
A Map Image of this Location is needed. ♥ Ariyen ♀ 19:22, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
Deletion[edit]
The motion for deletion should be talked here, before placed on the page. ♥ Ariyen ♀ 19:22, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
So[edit]
Why is this at Inscribed Wall (landmark) and not just Inscribed Wall? Backsword moved it originally and then decided against it or something? There's no disambig, so why is this here tbh? im confus. – Emmett 02:02, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- Move it back, tbh. putting it under Category:Landmarks will do exactly the same thing. -- Wandering Traveler 02:20, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- This is an alternative page created by Ariyen. There is already an creature named Insribed Wall, so that name is taken. Backsword 02:22, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- You're confusing me Backsword. As far as I knew, Inscribed Wall has always been this, and after it was moved was always a redirect. Whats the difference between "creature" and "landmark"? I'm not getting that at all. -- Wandering Traveler 02:26, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- No, the article have always documented what's in the game. Until Ariyen wanted this page 'because it helps'. Having it here was a compromise, but this sort of stuff realy belongs in userspace. Backsword 03:06, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- Inscribed Wall is not a creature as you want it to be. It's a Landmark. Like Melonni says, "Oh, thank the gods I found you! Something terrible has happened! You need to follow me now! Kormir is waiting." Then Kormir says, "Thank the gods! Take a look at this and tell me what you think of it." - so it's a 'location' and in no way does it fit anything towards a creature, except it's 'interactive'. Also you did the 1rr to begin with. Please revert to the last Page it displayed. -- riyen ♥ 03:13, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- Obviously you don't do guidelines. Check GWW:LOCATIONS Then, see if your page matches. Then, compare to the addition, from actual information via the game it's self, as well as the information in the quest supplied. Also Look at a creatures page and ask yourself, does it move when you touch it (As creatures move). This 'wall' is like the signposts. Except it's only interaction is that it glows. Hence, I fixed it to the guidelines, you prefer it to be Your page. It should be moved to your page then. -- riyen ♥ 03:22, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- Here's a challeng then: go ingame and get a screenshot of it without a creature level in the name bar. Oh, and you can't move creatures by touching them. Backsword 03:45, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

- Ariyen move the pae, which is why this doesn't make sense. If anyone wonders. Backsword 03:45, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- I make it make sense with the guidelines and information was added by Guy Falkes (on the page you wanted moved to my userpage for no reason). -- riyen ♥ 03:58, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- Did backsword move the page or am I missing something. – Emmett 19:46, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yes and that one was fixed according to what was stated. Now, he's saying it's a 'creature' so fixed it according to the guideline. Wants to claim landmark should be moved to my userpage. So I did this one like that, because the landmark one was linked to the actual Quest and location. So then he kept fussing. I compromised to fix it back to here, to original and Now I'm accused of 'vandalising'? He needs to make up his mind. These aren't his pages and I am someone trying to help contribute to the wiki, using the guidelines. I just fixed it as should. He's violated the 1rr and accuses me of it, to be honest. I'm only trying to help fit it to the quest, location, and according to the guideline that would fit such a 'page' as it's 'described'. -- riyen ♥ 19:56, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
