Confusion on the Bow - What's in a Name?[edit]

Guildwiki says there is both a unique Ironwing Flatbow and a standard one. The standard salvages to Iron Ingots. Unless that info is wrong, this will need a second article and a disambiguation, I guess. - Sundown Solstice 10:18, 15 April 2007 (EDT)

Bow in Pre-searing[edit]

one question.. how is it possible that i saw a ranger with an ironwing flatbow in pre sear?

What kind of stupid questrion is that?
Their are actually a couple of answers to that question. Firstly are you sure it was this bow? The second answer is that their have been a few times in gw history where an exploit existed allowing someone to transfer their post searing items to pre-searing. Thus the bow could have been transfered during one of those periods. -- Salome User salome sig2.png 17:11, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

Dye[edit]

Couldn't dye the unique one, is the original only dye-able? someone check - if it isn't, remove the dye part.Shadaez 05:45, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Unique items are pretty much never dyable. Regular are almost always dyable. I dont know what is the case here, but on the fact that the unique is undyable you can't conclude that the regular is also undyable 86.80.183.215 12:19, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

A little late but I can confirm the gold version of this is dyable, the dye affects the handle of the bow. 98.71.113.254 22:38, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
