Named After Player

It's fact. Just look at the game. Amatz basin? Named after a guild. Zos Shivros channel? Named after a guild. Tons and tons of NPCs named after devs and their friends. Lots of things got named after people in spearmen guild. When you're epic at the game and take the time to influence the community, you get recognized for it (i.e., Ensign, Lulu, JR, Warskull, etc). -Auron 13:10, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

I know there are many places/npcs named after players but over 90% of the players have never heard of the people they were named after so it would be too easy to say "It's obvious duh" because, well simply, it's not obvious to normal people who aren't involved in the same circles ArenaNet is, (this includes hard core pvp minorities as well). I'd rather you point to a source when reverting something over and over again as you could have seen prior to your revert. With your experience on the wiki you should have been aware why (and showed by asking Emily you were aware) some kind of source would have been nice. Perhaps next time add it to the talk page to prevent future reverts? Many people did not know this and it is all to easy to claim something without proof, whether you believe it to be obvious or not. 122.104.165.13 13:18, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
