I may be missing something here, but why would high damage compensate for a 10-second disable? Harrier C. Goodman talk 13:37, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
- This was made for a theoretical damage ranger bar. Damage rangers weren't viable until the introduction of more powerful elites (burning arrow, post-buff incendiary arrows), and this only saw use for a few months in late 2009 until this update which nerfed ranger damage across the board. You are right though, this skill is trash in its current form. -Auron 14:36, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
- I agree with both of you but it can be accompanied by Oath Shot to counter its disables. After use of Oath Shot it is than up to your other skills to support you while Oath Shot is recharging. Eg: Whirling Defence can look after the player while its being attaced if your expertise is high. It is hard to find a good use for it but it can be used well if you know how to use it (not saying you both don't what your doing). --Pudz 05:28, 27 December 2010 (UTC)
- Exchanging a high damage normal for a poor elite seems like a bad tradeoff. 111.69.12.2 15:46, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
