Talk:Mindblade Spectre
Is this creature of the same species as Banished Dream Riders(Ghost) or a Demon, just like its appearance suggest? MithranArkanere 23:40, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
it would be possible to wait 5 sec for Hex Breaker to go off mindblades but you can't know if they cast it or not. well the damage isn't so big but there is only 15 sec recharge so it is a problem i think... Plohek 09:32, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Ectoplasm[edit]
I have been keeping track of these lately, and based on 1067:25 I believe they have something between a 2% and 2.5% drop rate. Much the same as smite crawlers and noticeably lower than terrorwebs, aatxes, and skeletons of Dhuum. Given their hardiness and skill set, I think farming them is a bit arduous for what you get, but not terrible. - Tristan c 16:36, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- Agree that they seem to have a lower drop rate than say, Aatxes. I even get ectos more often from skeletons than these guys. 85.19.140.9 17:34, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
- While I think that this may be true, I would have to disagree that farming these is not quite as "worth it" as other creatures in the UW. In the Chaos Planes, these essentially spawn in mobs of 18, albeit staggered, but still. You ever see a mob of 18 smites, or a mob of 18 aatxe? I can solo the Planes in about 30 minutes, and usually see around 6 ectos drop. The same, or just slightly less, amount of ectos drop from the terrorwebs in the Spawning Pools next door, however they are much hardier and soloing that area takes at least twice as long. For me, they have averaged around 5 ectos per run. So, if you consider drop rate as a percent, Spectres are less efficient than others, but a more practical approach would be to consider ecto drops per hour. 12/hour for Spectres compared to 5/hour for terrorwebs. Of course, this will be different for each person, as different builds will cater better to different creatures. For me, however, I run directly to the Chaos Planes, clear it, and then decide if I want to keep going with the Pools. 174.253.21.230 15:35, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
Pop-ups[edit]
There are pop ups of these right? I was switching screens so I was distracted. They popped out of the the ground as allies then turned red immediately. 71.129.51.88 23:17, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
- Well, these guys aren't exactly popups, but they don't appear unless you kill one of the Banished Dream Riders in the Chaos Plains. Or when you take the quest 'Escort of Souls.' --Musha 03:27, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
- The ones that pop up as allies at first are from Escort of Souls. There are also 2 3 spectre groups that pop up in separate locations in the chaos plains. 98.248.90.248 05:20, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
