Problem with the notes: the credits dont get value from the purchase price of the holding because it only sells back for 250G, likewise the expert salvage only sells back for 200 meaning the scroll is most worth it — The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.141.211.85 (talk) at 15:36, 25 July 2010 (UTC).
- The above comment is true, however every character generally needs 2 runes of holding (one for each bag) worth 500g each. This in turn means you can either use 6 monastery credits to get them (total sell value 600g) or pay 500g for each. So keeping that in mind, exchanging for scrolls offers the greatest gold return, but using them for salvage kits when you need them saves you more money than you would get by selling scrolls. And as stated in the notes, gold saved is gold earned.» Keneth O'Connor, 20:14, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
