Activation[edit]

User:Tankity tank put the Activation in on Friday as 1 second, User:Drago changed it to 1/4 later the same day, and I have a screenshot here from last night that says 2 seconds... Is Anet changing around the Activation that much, or does it have different activations on different simians, or what? Changing it to 2 either way as that's the most recent, and I'll hold onto the screenshot if anyone cares to demand proof. - Tanetris 19:26, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Watch mobs use it in the future, screenshot it if you see 2 seconds again. I doubt there is more than one copy of the skill but it's entirely possible. --Tankity Tank 20:56, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

Attribute Level[edit]

I was in the Tarnished Coast on a Ritualist, using Rit Lord and defensive spirits. I caught on of the Redhand Simians using Union (copied from me) but the spirit that he spat out was higher level than mine. I only had 14 Communing on me. I was not in Hard Mode. had seen the derves using blood song from my xandra (r15 channeling) making lvl 13 spirits (r16-17) and shelter from a merc (r12 communing) making lvl 13 spirits again (r116-17). Not surprised I guess since HM foes have everything through the roof. Justice 09:33, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Monkey cheat?[edit]

The skill states that the compied skill is activated after this skill, but what if

  • 1) The skill is a attackskill requiring a weapon? (such as a bow attack, or a hammer attack)
  • 2) The skill is completely useless? (such as Cure Hex when no ally in range is hexed)
  • 3) Monkey see, Monkey Do is copied?
  • 4) A skill only working under some circumstances (such as a dagger dual attack, or Signet of Toxic Shock)
  • 5) The skill is a ranged attack (the monkeys are meelee arent they)

From what I can tell, once the skill is copied and placed on their bar, the AI will use it as appropriate, similar to how a hero might (in my particular case, a Cloudtouched Simian cast one of its Water Magic hexes and it was immediately followed with Discord after a Redhand Simian's Ebon Dust Aura blinded some of my party just prior). My team didn't have any weapon-specific skills, so I'll bring on a few heroes with only Weapon Skills, and at least one with Scythe Skills to verify if Redhand Simians could use those (I'd assume so), if copied.192.168.103.52 00:14, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
