Error?[edit]
Looking at the renders of this Elite Cultist armor, both male and female versions, and the renders of the Fanatic armor (the supposed none elite version), does it appear to anyone else as if Anet mixed up the sets when they were introduced into the game? The Fanatic armor has far more detail and embelishments than the supposed elite version of itself, the Elite Cultist armor, and also looks better (in my opinion, which obviously is a subjective thing, hence why I'm asking everyone else here). - Interesting observation. The Fanatic armor does seem more elite. 72.81.237.230 06:15, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

- I disagree. maybe it's just my computer, but on the fanatic armor it looks like there is just a splotch of color in the stomach portion of the armor, the elite version seems cleaner. but again, it could just be my computer.174.100.25.69 06:44, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
- Just got my necro to Granite Citadel and grabbed this for my HoM, and I have to say I think this is a poorly designed set of armor, aesthetically speaking, especially in comparison to the non-elite counterpart. IMO, having so much undyable grey is a backwards concept. The majority of any armor should be dyable to allow players the best opportunity to individualize their looks, rather than being "grey with some colored strips." The only advantage to this design is that when using white dye, you can pretend you're a zebra. That and it spurs you to get moving to acquire another HoM-worthy armor set. - + Oh, forgot to mention, I'm referring to the female armor set. The male set seems a tad better with wider dyable strips, but still way too much grey. Shame there aren't at least two regions on each armor piece that can by dyed. Would make for so much more potential variety.... Kruhljak 05:55, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
- Although A-net hasn't stated its ok, I'd recommend GwDressUp - you can try out armors on there without having to buy any sets you're unsure of, and if you like the armor you could buy the set :p --File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 11:27, 11 August 2011 (UTC)

I completely agree that the fanatic (the non elite version) looks 50x better. 76.16.108.117 17:51, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
