Practiced Stance + Whirling Defense[edit]
Anyone done Practiced Stance + Whirling Defense before maybe against soloing groups of Rangers.
- Practiced Stance is a stance. As is Whirling Defense. Whirling Defense is not a Preparation. Whirling Defense cancels Practiced Stance. So.....why would I take Practiced Stance AND Whirling Defense? --AlexEternal 16:01, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

wouldnt mind a modest ias build into this for chocking gas...or just any prep really. Not sure how they would balance a maintainable ias though--Justice 20:38, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
- Move to expertise and make the IAS multiply by number of pets in region for an interesting combination? Like...You attack 2...5...12% Faster for each allied pet(Max 33%)? Or do something really cool like for each successful attack you attack 1% faster against target foe (You're practising your stance...). - Needling shot does okay for a pseudo IAS, or you could even use flurry since your preparation wont suddenly go away just because you leave practiced stance. 66.41.46.226 02:16, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
Because it can be kept up indefinetly with no expertise, as well as the inherent halving of stance recharge, it can be useful for secondary rangers as well....[edit]
Wha-? I see that it halves preperation recharge, but not stance recharge (ignoring for the moment that this is also a stance). Does it actually do that to the next stance activated while it's up? 90.206.126.177 08:29, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- Why are you asking about stance recharge, the skill desription says this stance only affects Preperation recharge and duration. 64.231.46.4 01:29, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

Should do something else[edit]
Practiced stance; anyone who've read the Ranger's apprentice series knows what that means for a ranger. I'd say make this give +2 on all ranger attributes, 33% IAS, double flight speed - in pvp remove flight speed bonus, att boost to +1 and reduce IAS to 25 83.82.86.117 19:58, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
