- This is definitely true. Getting hit by the catapult on the isle of the nameless with a PvP strength shield with no mods/inscriptions reduces the damage to 605. Getting hit with any of the other PvP shields reduces the damage to 616. Doing the math proves that it gives +9 armor. --Macros 15:50, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
