Phoenixes[edit]
With a phoenix added: "Bred as a decorative showpiece for the Emperor's palace, the phoenix is as tough as it is beautiful. Canthans believe that as long as there's one phoenix in the palace, there will also be one emperor. Two phoenixes would be bad luck then, wouldn't they?" ...Aren't there 4 phoenixes in the divine path? >_>. 24.233.254.51 18:07, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
- There are two Adult Phoenix NPCs next to Kisu there. Ask Togo what he thinks about such superstition. :P --NIN37 04:16, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
- Two adult phoenixes, plus the two that rangers can get. 24.233.254.51 21:09, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
- Errr...Also I don't think "Phoenixes" is the correct plural. I think it's like Sheep. In that the singular and the plural are the same. -- Salome 01:44, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- The NPC says phoenixes and wiktionary lists both as proper plurals. – Emmett 02:29, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- I knew the NPC said it that way, just wasn't sure it was the correct plural. I can remember researching this a few years ago and being told by my Law lecturer (who also taught Latin) that the plural was Phoenix. However he also said it was kinda problematic as in arabian lore their was only 1 phoenix, so the idea of needing the plural never really cropped up. -- Salome 02:36, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Lions[edit]
I just visited this guy since I started getting pets in this place, and noticed that he mentions how their lion are purring. Last time I checked, lions or lioness' won't purr (if you don't count when breathing out). Just some info that caught my eye, nothing big <.< Oh and maybe that "these aren't earth lions, these are tyrian lions" might work here, but still.
