Talk:Screaming Shot

When would you not prefer this in your skill bar over Power Shot? Answer: When you don't have enough space to complete your Echo Mending build. Seriously though, the only way Screaming Shot is inferior to Power Shot is that it takes two more seconds to reload. --Eyekwah 13:15, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Well other than that stupid comment.. If this skill misses or blocked, does it cause bleeding anyways? Halogod35 03:27, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

That's a good question. Haven't seen this enough to really know. --TalkPeople of Antioch 17:06, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
I realise this question was asked AGES ago but for what it's worth, I was wondering the same thing and tested on the Isle of the Nameless. I was blinded and the Screaming Shot arrow missed (whilst I was within earshot of target foe). Result: No bleeding was applied. --Combatter 02:09, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
I believe that mechanically, there is a huge difference between a miss and a block. "Miss" means that the thing didn't ever touch them. "Block" means that it hit them, but was deflected. In an old Mark of Rodgort + Fiery Bow + Barrage build I used to run (AoE burning, prior to Searing Flames), it could cause burning, even if blocked. Between that build and this skill there are some key differences (the burning is caused local to the target by a hex, not actually by the skill itself) so it might not be the same. I would, however, spend time investigating it. Get a friend to have a skill that will block the next attack against them, and then use this on them. See what happens. --Tloch14 16:23, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
