Talk:Signet of Humility
Candidate for List of skill anomalies?[edit]
The skill description says only 1 skill will be disabled, but all elites on target foe's bar will be disabled. -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 18:16, 19 April 2007 (EDT)
- It doesn't specifically say one skill, just that you can only put one elite on your skillbar (with exceptions of course). But still I think it may count as an anomaly. - Anja (talk) 18:20, 19 April 2007 (EDT)
- Yeah, and it indirectly implies that the 'target foe' always has an elite on his bar. -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 18:27, 19 April 2007 (EDT)
- And of course someone already put it on that page. /me needs coffee. -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 18:29, 19 April 2007 (EDT)
- Hehe, and maybe you need a break too. You've done a nice job with all the skills :) - Anja (talk) 18:31, 19 April 2007 (EDT)
- Yeah, only the "S" left to do (Category:Skill stubs). But I'll leave that for this weekend (unless I'm trying out Hard Mode). -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 18:33, 19 April 2007 (EDT)
- You can only have 1 elite.. 82.74.131.198 09:24, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

There are several skills (all are mesmer I think?) that allow you to copy other's elites. This can also be achieved with sig of capture. Barkingllama 07:09, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- remove signet of capture since you won't fight anyone who has two elite skills because of it.--141.152.54.114 02:01, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
- You cannot get this from Micah Ferson, so I removed it. Justing6 04:35, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
Monk Hate[edit]
This skill is dirty when used in pvp against monks. Their elite tends to be the main heal on their bar. WoH, glimmer, RoC, blessed light, blah blah blah. Suppose not effective vs HB or healer's covenant.--Justice 06:22, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
- Single PvP monks are prepared to cope with this, because dshot and powerblock etc. do the same trick (time for patient spirit, rof or dismiss condition heal spam...). Really bad is SoH only for RC monks in 8vs8, but there SoH will be dshotted by the ranger anyway. --82.83.40.245 02:38, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
their elite tends to be the MAIN heal. i guess i was suggesting they not depend on only one skill for healing there.--Justice 16:36, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
This should be an elite[edit]
This is entirely OP for 4v4... being able to shut an elite down for 16 seconds. This should be Mesmers 35th elite. --Final Abomination 23:50, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
- a) Inspiration Magic
- b) 3 seconds gross activation time
- c) Signet
- Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 23:59, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
Fast Casting. -Final Abomination 00:01, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, you got 16 Inspiriation Magic and 15 Fast Casting - what to do know? Even then, it's 1.5 seconds. Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 00:02, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Inspiration has a lot of anti interrupt mantras You could fully shutdown a monk with 4 second downtime. --Final Abomination 00:49, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- An elite whose only purpose is to disable somebody else's elite? And isn't even instant or maintainable? I think not. In terms of balance, bringing your own *real* elite wins every time, hands-down.--198.37.19.210 17:03, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- Mesmer skills usually don't focus on elites, it was nerfed.. I used this on my dancing dagger sin in RA against a WoH monk.... now its virtually useless. --Final Abomination 05:32, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- Unless you're playing an actual mesmer in an actual PvP arena, and then it's still fucking awesome. --76.25.197.215 05:37, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Nerf[edit]
/dance *oooooh hai di hai di hai di hai di di!*--72.189.85.14 04:31, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
The profession range use for it has been skewed, it'll still be seen on quite alot of Mesmer bars.. Nikdanbro 06:17, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
- This skill now fails >< Aartist21 10:57, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
tssss anet[edit]
okay i'll tell you why this is just BS sig of humility is often the only defence a mesmer has against PnH especially if you're running illu and now it disables our res.... 88.71.0.154 11:53, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
- BS. There are plenty of mez skills to prevent the use of PnH, starting with Diversion. --82.83.47.103 10:34, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Someone should write what the nerf was.
Balanced[edit]
/dance *hai torti torti torti!* It's finally balanced! No more teams having tons of utility and then tacking on this to destroy the other team. Not to mention that it completely ruined HA.--66.192.104.10 00:28, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
- Did you notice RESURRECTION SIGNET is a NON-MESMER skill too? since the nerf Rez Sig + SoH on your skill bar = taking 7 skills - (BlackHoleSun 18:32, 4 March 2009 (UTC))
just run an inspiration Mesmer, I love inspiration :P ( i know its < Domination, but still.. ) Signet of Humility + Power Leech + Web of Disruption = total shutdown. 86.91.141.232 11:00, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
