So I decided to test the damage type of the Snowmens' actual attacks in the Secret Lair. I threw on Shadow Form and then hit Mantra of Frost when they attacked me. It seems their attacks do Cold Damage, and their spells deal Fire Damage, go figure. 72.199.119.247 05:43, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
