It seems this skill can also remove Shadow Form, which imo is incorrect, because SF states ALL hostile skills targeting you fail, but obviously, this one doesn't. It's not a touch skill or a signet, so I think it needs to be fixed. Sjeng 17:06, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

no, shadowform states all hostile SPELLS fail, this is a skill, not a spell.

You're absolutely right, and I can't read xD Thanks for clearing it up! Sjeng 09:14, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Your both wrong. all Hostile spells fail and all attacks miss against you. hehe haha

description is wrong[edit]

Full description states 40 damage while Concise description states 50 damage.

Notes[edit]

It states: "This skill will strip Shadow Form". Does this mean SF is also stripped when covered? Otherwise the note is quite redundant, because of this being a skill, no spell, it will obviously go through SF. -77.166.63.187 12:22, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Its noted because its one of the few skills that can strip shadow form. Whats the only reason someone would wiki this skill? Because all their enchants were stripped when they had shadow form or spell breaker on and they're going "wtf dude?". Its not reduntant to anyone that uses the wiki for the purpose of, you know, wiki'ing. --Briar 12:25, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
But it could use a re-wording. Ill look into that. --Briar 12:27, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Order of effect[edit]

It appears that the Daze condition is applied before the damage is dealt, as this skill will successfully interrupt anyone casting a spell if they are enchanted. Adding this to the notes section. - a la VivienneRunestone Elementalist-tango-icon-20.png 07:33, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

On that note, perhaps someone would like to test whether or not the enchantment removal is also applied before the damage is dealt. It would naturally be assumed so, since the daze takes priority. This could negate the effects of protective enchants like spirit bond and protective spirit. - a la VivienneRunestone Elementalist-tango-icon-20.png 07:35, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
