Soo... why is it that the FIRST green weapon you can get in NF has perfect mods, while the others later on, especially in the last areas of Istan are completely worthless later on? Just a thought. Silavor UserSilavorSigIcon.png 05:22, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

It's not perfect, look at the damage. --TalkPeople of Antioch 05:27, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Never said the damage was perfect, I said the mods were perfect. Silavor UserSilavorSigIcon.png 05:37, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Actualy take a look at the damage, isnt that the max for a q3 weapon? C4K3 User C4K3 Signature.jpg Talk 15:23, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

trivia[edit]

I want to propose changing where is says "Stormbringer" is a name for Poseidon. I believe it is more closely an epithet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epithet) not a name. I also think the note about it being something in some book should be removed, if it doesn't get reverted by the time I finish typing this. --'Mai Yi' talk 00:48, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

A quick google search turns up multiple references to the Michael Moorcock stories and the sword called, Stormbringer. I couldn't find any trace of a Poseidon Connection (nor to the Poseidon Adventure, but I digress). But there's very little overlap between the two Stormbringers other than that the sword was created by Forces of Chaos and the staff does chaos damage.
A slightly more plausible source for the name is the Deep Purple album of that name; GW has other references to the band. But even this is a very weak connection. Short of developer confirmation, I support Mai Yi's suggestion that the sword reference be dropped.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 01:06, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
If the item was a sword the reference would make sense; otherwise it seems too trivial even for a Trivia section. – NuclearDuckie 02:01, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
Agreed. I'll scrap it, because unless there is a statement saying that this was the intent, it is far too common of a name in fantasy genres to warrant these assumptions. - Event Nexus 06:15, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
