Trivia[edit]
What, exactly, does a WWII era plane have to do with a Charr elementalist? -- FreedomBound 13:49, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- What exactly do most references have to do with anything? Spitfire is a very common reference, also, I never stated that the name was inspired or derived from it. I just think that trivia belongs there.Enoxon 13:52, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- If it's not inspired by, or derived from, it really has no place here. What does it add to the article? -- FreedomBound 13:54, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- Absolutely nothing.--h. moo. 13:56, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- Does seem a bit random, tbh... 94.209.65.245 13:58, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- What do trivias add to the articles they link too? I'm not following you... You never heard of spitfire? As far as I can tell, it is a very common reference. At least here in Europe. If it's the general consensus to drop the trivia, go ahead. I'd like to get confirmation it's not inspired on it, but, oh well...Enoxon 14:03, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- I've heard of it, I'm just trying to figure out the relevance. If he had dialogue about a propeller or something, I could see it, but it's a stretch to link the plane to a charr elementalist that uses fire skills solely on the basis of a similar (not even the same) name. -- FreedomBound 14:07, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- That's a fail argument. He doesn't have a dialogue since it's an end of mission boss that's not even relevant to the main plot. He shares spawn points with other bosses. How could he be talking about propellers? I saw the resemblance in names, thus i added the trivia. If it's not a reference to the legendary airplane, well, it fooled me. I just think it's an odd combination of words, thats all. But, as I said before, I abide to general consensus. Enoxon 14:13, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- It's simply an example, one meant to be over the top, but you should get the general idea. I just don't understand why you think that "spitfur" == "spitfire". -- FreedomBound 14:17, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
- Well, his name is spitfur and he is a fire elementalist boss. I don't think the names are equal, just that they sound alike. It's an argument based on resemblance. That's that. That's all the information you have about this boss. Enoxon 14:26, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
