Yes, but Psychic Distraction or Blackout will technically "interrupt" because it disables the spell, so if you get hit while casting, the spell fails at the end of the cast-time since the game sees that your skill is disabled. But sure, you can carry these ashes and cast 5 second spells and not worry about a ranger interrupt with daze or interrupting shots. Hakamanakus 15:41, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

I run a rather random Rt/R trapper build in RA and I use this elite with it so I can get into a crowd or just stand there while someone's attacking me or an adjacent ally and set up all my traps. I mean, 80% of the time it works fine for me. With enough runes and appropriate skills, I don't really hurt for energy and I think it's fine for a Rt trapper, at least from what I've experienced personally. User:Purgatorio
