uhh what?[edit]

During character creation, in the primary profession selection screen, the warrior is depicted in Templar armor.

No.

That looks like a templar helmet, yes. But the rest of it, No. Not templar.

oh, and thanks to whoever fixed my image so it looks like that, don't know how to do that myself :P24.233.254.51 20:28, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Vanquish helmet?[edit]

Isn't the helmet also the one on the vanquish icon? Paddymew 12:38, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Reskin[edit]

I believe this armor was reskinned for EotN and released as Warrior's Deldrimor Armor? 86.170.90.247 11:15, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

Yes parts of it. Female boots for example are part of Warrior Elite Platemail armor, while male breastplate is inspired by Warrior Elite Charr Hide armor. M3G User M3G Pumpkin.png 11:59, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

Best color[edit]

Just crafted a set of this armor and the areas that are suppose to be gold coloured are silver like the rest of the armor. --Silver Edge 05:32, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Because that is the default color. All the Anet armor renders are dyed pictures, for instance all Warrior armor images are dyed yellow, (except Nightfall and EotN which are red), all Mesmer are dyed green (except EotN which are red), and so forth. If you want to see the default color, you need to look at each individual gallery at the gray components. ~Celestia 05:37, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
I still have a set of Templar armor I had crafted prior to Factions being released and the helm, cuirass, and leggings appear gold/yellow just like in the render, even though I never dyed them; however, the set I just crafted is all silver. --Silver Edge 05:45, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Nevermind, I might have dyed it back then. --Silver Edge 05:47, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Actually, pre-Nightfall (possibly even stretching up to EotN) armor was already pre-dyed a certain colour. It didn't go default grey for a long time. Also, does anyone else remember when each armor type had built-in insignias and a full set of this was pointless (-3 non-stacking damage reduction)? :P 24.67.200.220 17:57, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
