Is there a way to ensure that all "swapped" weapons will land where you want when inactive? I keep all of my weapons in an equipment pack, but every time I switch from my first weapon set, the focus lands in my backpack. All the other sets are single two-handed weapons... can I do something to force the first set's off-hand into the equipment pack after swapping without having to put it there manually? 173.20.176.253 17:54, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

My personal experience is once you have gone through your entire weapon set hot key list and keep alternating between the one which uses the focus and the one that doesn't while continually moving your focus to the empty slot in your bag, it will "remember" that location the next time you do it. Once you do a full rotation of weapon sets and keep moving any that are put in your backpack to the equipment bag, you shouldn't have to do it again until you alter your weapon sets/weapons.
Alternatively, if the reason your focus is landing in your inventory is because you are switching to a two handed weapon, just place the focus in the offhand slot anyway. It won't appear on your character or have any effect, but it can still sit in that slot. 58.110.60.57 18:21, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

I seem to suffer from the same issue. F1> Recurve Bow F2> Short Bow F3> Short Bow F4> Ax & Shield. Even if I place the shield in the Equipment Pack, select F4 and revert back to any of my Bows, the Shield will always return to the back pack. All the bows and the Ax will always return to the Equipment Pack. Can anyone bring light to the issue as to why the off hand item, (shield) does not? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Tstranganp (talk).

Equip the shield (or a different offhand item) in your offhand slot for each bow you're using; if the slot is empty then whatever offhand was there previously will be returned to the first open slot in your inventory. horrible | contribs 00:18, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
