there should only be 8 of these, correct? seeing as the 1st place team was the only to get them Vald [Citation Needed] 00:19, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
- No, because everyone that voted on the winners also got a shot at them. If you read carefully at http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Winterfest_Tournament_2006 ... "Those who select teams who perform well in combat will win Wintergreen items, much like the Candy Cane items distributed at last year's Wintersday Festival." That was actually the first use of the tournament webpage.I actually have a full set and I didn't GvG in that tournament so there you go. --Life Infusion «T» 14:47, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- OK, so there are not millions of these around, but, people are asking 100e for a weapon thats essentially useless, except for testing. Or, am I missing something? 110.144.56.153 12:39, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
- "...during the Winterfest Tournament 2006." , It means it was only available then. It is next-to Miniature Kanaxai rare. --Neil • 12:49, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
- "essentially useless, except for testing." Yep. Functionality > Rarity, unless you're mentally impaired, so there really is no reason to want one of these. Ever. Kay - 13:28, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, it does have it's uses. It does more damage than a regular reqqed bow at 0 marks, which makes it more effective for meele to finish off running targets. It's the reason wintergreen spears are so expensive. Vald [Citation Needed] 14:12, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
- No offense, but that's nonsense. Even *if* you were stupid enough to pay for and then subsequently bring a wintergreen bow purely for the purpose of finishing off runners (using armor respecting 15 dmg...), which can also be done, by like, proper positioning or teamwork, then there is no reason for the inscription slot. Moreover, "It's the reason wintergreen spears are so expensive." has nothing to do with the argument in any way, on account of spears being an intergral part of the base equipment anyway, due to mod slots & combination with shields (even then, wand damage is greater). A bow has no such advantages. Kay - 16:22, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
- Well it was great fun bringing mine into RA and finishing games with it. Not very practical though. Vald [Citation Needed] 16:28, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
