About that revert, the Platinum Scepter isn't a Factions platinum either, and it is listed. So why can't the Compass be listed? As a matter of fact, why didn't you speak up when I proposed the alteration a few months ago? 145.94.74.23 14:16, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Celestial weapons are their own 'set', as if were. The Celestial Compass isn't part of it, it just shares the name 'Celestial'. As for not speaking up, you'll have to excuse me if I'm not everywhere-on-the-wiki-at-once-all-the-time. Just because you made a post on the Compass's talk page doesn't mean everyone sees it. ~~000.00.00.00~~ 00:25, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
- My apologies for that second bit, but as for the set, I disagree. Anet later added 2 weapons to the platinum family and they got added to the navbar. So why is the compass any different? 145.94.74.23 11:48, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
- If you look at the acquisition lists for the Celestial weapons you'll see they're found in Factions primarily (and also core chests - UW etc) but the Celestial Compass doesn't follow that, it's acquisition is limited to core chests (as far as we know). Look at your Platinum example: the broadsword isn't included in the navbar for that type but it shares similar drop trends.
- It, to me at least, seems unrealistic to bundle them together in the same weapon family if they don't share the same drop lists. Also, the design and features of the Compass don't much the stylistic choices the designers made with the Celestial Weapons. It shares the celestial name but I still highly doubt they're linked within the same set. ~~000.00.00.00~~ 22:45, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
