Disabling caching

Just out of my own curiosity, how does this template accomplish disabling caching? Nothing in the implementation really jumps out at me, and I'd like to learn the technique. --DryHumour 20:23, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

That goes without saying. It has to be said though, there's a certain irony inherent in making event pages uncachable exactly when their peak usage is highest. --DryHumour 17:46, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
