Common skills

Since there are no Prophecies or Factions Common skills, this cannot be used in the List of common skills. Because the Prophecies and Factions will always appear red. Aditionally, most of the Common skills are quest rewards, but they are not shown in any way. I think they are not even categorized. But that would be for the skill template. Suggestion - add row for skill type

Would it be all right to add a row for skill type to these tables? That would make it easier to, for instance, show just Ritualist Binding Rituals, or Mesmer Enchantments, or Warrior Shouts, etc. It would be very easy to do with the skill list template. For example:

The problem I have with all these lists are that most of them would be more easily accessed by visiting the relevant "type" page - e.g. Stance#List_of_stances - where I can sort the table by profession very quickly + easily. Pages like axe skills for example, Axe Mastery totally makes redundant. Category:Lists of skills by type has loads of these sortable tables. Chieftain Alex 21:58, 24 January 2013 (UTC)

I know that you can sort any of the tables to see portions of them, but I do think it would make it a lot easier to see certain skill groups. For instance, if you have a weapon with a 20% staff wrapping of devotion, being able to one-click see all your profession's enchantments can be very useful. A few would be redundant, but that really just applies to some warrior skill types and bow attacks. For all the spellcaster professions I think it does have some use, though. I have been messing around with this a bit on my userpage, using a copy of this template. It's nothing fancy or obtrusive - basically I just added a link to the navbar to view a list of skill types for each profession, which allows you to view the skills per type within that profession. By profession
