Template talk:Text issue
Should we use subst with this template so that it doesn't interfere with section edits? -- Gordon Ecker 09:18, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
Regarding Fighterdoken fix, it doesn't seem to check the existence of a page correctly and ends up breaking the display. I attempted to fix this by replacing the pipes with {{pipe}}, but that didn't seem to fix it. So I'm going to revert this template to the last good version so that it displays correctly on User talk:Bobby Stein/Text bugs. Tedium 23:48, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- Weird, i thought i checked and saw it working, but may have been with the sandbox version instead of this. May i suggest removing the autolink then, since it really helps on nothing for a developer (i mean, i doubt they check the wiki article for reference, when they should have a better source), and it just end bringing up broken links when users don't spell properly, or put a bug that has no related article (nor should).--Fighterdoken 19:45, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- Are you sure it breaks the display? Tried with no pipes and appears to work, but the template page breaks a little. Tried with pipes on the first entry and works. Tried with pipes on first and second pipe and works... May i ask a bit more reference on how it breaks the text bugs page?--Fighterdoken 19:55, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
Grey check marks and white and red crosses[edit]
Should we add support for the other marks used on ArenaNet talk:AI bugs. Gray check marks (reported but not yet fixed), white crosses (used to mark entries which are not considered issues but are open for discussion and entries which require more information) and red crosses (used to mark entries for non-issues, entries issues which cannot be fixed and entries for duplicate issues). -- Gordon Ecker 05:26, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
Invalid parameter[edit]
The instructions say to use "description" as a type, but when auto-linked via the template, it creates a red-link, since "description" is not a valid article on the wiki. Way too many parentheses in this template for me to do anything about it. -- FreedomBound 12:38, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
