You can't be serious... Things needlessly holding GW back from greatness:
- Paragons. All of the tremendous work that has gone into stopping paragons from ruining GW could have been prevented easily by tossing this trash in the can @ square one.
- Shutdown builds. Stop playing around with this and kill it all dead forever, at all levels, in all forums. period. This trash needs to go the way of elite monk energy management, and that's all there is to it.
- Wearying Strike + Melandru. This one I can understand... for 2 days. The fact that it still hasn't been smacked out of the park blows my mind, which leads us to:
- Balance delays: especially the Steady Stance build. The fix to this was well done. Too bad it had to wait until my three best friends gave up on GW and left :( Yes, it's wise to be careful with nerfs. That doesn't mean you shouldn't kill degenerate trash dead immediately. The time it takes on issues like this (months...)is why HA ranks are half as valuable as they used to be, if that. It's why GW has been bleeding players who desperately wanted to stay...

Nice Job! Reasons GW is still worth playing:
- the shockaxe is still viable :)
- the Aegis fix. /claps
- the Burning Arrow Ranger
- observer mode
- hard mode (great idea, great implementation, pve not my cup o' tea but I still love this).
- Here are some examples of good, balanced shutdown: empathy. Backfire. ineptitude and clumsiness. Diversion, shame etc. I even think SV is balanced, primarily because it's in blood magic. None of these strong, balanced shutdown hexes make it on to degenerate builds. they are well designed, and give me hope.
- creative skill updates like spotless soul/mind, smiter's boon, the SoR update.
