I first got told about GuildWars somewhere around late July/early August 2008. I went to my friend's house and he showed it to me. I said: "Wow this looks great, what is it?". So he told me about it. Not long after I had purchased Prophecies and EotN, with which came the birth of my first, most loved and main character, Joanne Strepsil. About 2 months later, with EotN finished and bored from Prophecies, I bought Nightfall, and 2 weeks later, Factions. As I chewed through Nightfall with Joanne, I could not help but notice how good well played Dervishes were. I managed a good played Mesmer according to my friends, something they said wasn't easy. And so I decided to create Markus Christo, whose name was an idea of my friend's, my dervish, and fight with him. It was fun, but I did feel like I was missing out on something, and a few weeks later I found out what: the ability to have a lot of energy and cause massive damage quickly; I needed an Elementalist. And that is how Jane Strepsil came to be, Joanne's little sister so to speak, and she went from something like a hamstorm warrior, except using ranger attacks and other spells so that i didn't depend as much on firestorm for damage, to her current build of an earth ele nuker of sorts.
