Metagame analysis[edit]

This page is where I analyze the metagame in terms of variety, how rewarding it is, the reasons of it's development, and in light of what it evolved from.

Right Now:[edit]

Right now the meta is... boring. No other way to say it. I used many terms to describe it before. Broken, Imbalanced, poorly designed, but none of them really grab the fundamental issue: It's boring. I end up nodding off while doing high end hard mode dungeons, and that's a problem. The reason behind it is manifold. From Ritualist spirit spam via Soul Twisting and Signet of Spirits, through damage mesmers (Esurge, Ineptitude), and necrits, and in general, the 3 pve 1 elite 4 skill "builds" that mostly involve spamming whatever attack I have and then cleaning up whatever is left after the mesmers dealt with the mob.
