This update had its good and bad sides

The Good side was that it gave us viable options for pvp monks, along with some assassin skill buffs, and dervish tweaks.

The bad side was that some buffs/nerfs were too hard, it is also bad that broken things werent fixed.

as always I will list the things I dont agree with.

Dervish[edit]

  • Armor of Sanctity Armor of Sanctity: functionality changed to: "All adjacent foes suffer from Weakness for 5..15 seconds. For 10 seconds, you take 5..20 less damage from foes suffering from a condition."
I think it was overhauled. The weakness duration is too long.
Its a touch skill, so it was unnecessary to up the recharge that much. 3 or 4 seconds would have been more approppriate.

Paragon[edit]

  • Finale of Restoration Finale of Restoration: increased recharge to 20 seconds. Functionality changed to: "For 10..35 seconds, the next 5 times that a chant or shout ends on target non-spirit ally, that ally is healed for 15..75 Health."
I see why it was problematic, although I dont see why dont you just simply remove healing from paragons and replace it with spell utility. Anyway 25/90-ing this skill was unnecessary.

Ranger[edit]

Too high. increasing it to 10 would have been fine.

PvE Changes[edit]

Assassin[edit]

  • Shroud of Distress Shroud of Distress: functionality changed to: "For 30..60 seconds, if you are below 50% Health, you have +3..8 Health regeneration and a 75% chance to block attacks.
While it was a severely underpowered skill, and the change was a good one, it will Never see play as long as complete invincibility exists. same applies to dervish defensive skill buffs.

Monk[edit]

While the buffs are good, the problem that two monks (one human+one hero) can effectively clear the hardest (most broken) areas of the game.

Guild Wars Wiki notes[edit]

Why dont you test the changes before releasing the update?
