Chapter 1. KisuOn a warm summer day, the Queen of Elona arrives in Cantha, to visit the people of Kaineng and her trusty friends in Cantha. It was exactly 5 years ago, when her majesty killed the dragons of Tyria. 5 Long years... During that time, the Queen united Elona with Crystal Desert and the Eastern Mountains. Her stay in Cantha is thought to be of friendly purposes. Many speculated about a trade agreement with the Canthan Emperor Kisu, some think her Highness is trying to take of Kaineng, others think she seeks an ancient secret in the eastern lands of Cantha. Many centuries long, people have seen mystical creatures in the east high above the forest. The Queen knows these tales, and is eager to discover what is going on.
At dawn of the second day, the Elonian Queen is paying a visit at the Raisu Palace to meet the royal Emperor Kisu. They meet, and talk about the differences of their countries. About things that need to be improved and things that don't. About friends and family but most of all the tales about the east. Emperor Kisu denies every single word of it, and refuses to speak to her if she continues. She knows that he knows what is going on, and continues to pressure him until he finaly admits. The legend about an ancient Phoenix called Hai Uii. It is to be believed this Phoenix was once human, and walked amongst the royals of Cantha. Kisu thinks it was the daughter of the first emperor, although this is not confirmed. Her highness is eager to set foot on these eastern lands but Kisu tells her it is restricted. No mortal can enter these paths, because he has seen, the bodies float in the river. None who entered has returned.
'So no mortal has returned, you say' says the Queen.
'No mortal, I have seen them enter, and return dead, in the river', Kisu answers.
'no mortal.. no mortal..', she thinks and gazes at the brown eyes of Kisu. At that moment her eyes turned black for the second time in her life. A little girl's voice said words, words in ancient Margonite language. Her arm lifted and stretched. With a simple movement her fingertop lit up an a shining light filled the area.'If no mortal can enter or leave, then a dead person can! Go now Kisu, Emperor of Cantha and show me your royal talents!'
The whole palace turned back to normal, and Kisu's body fell lifeless on to the cold ground. Her majesty looked at his corpse, and turned her back to it. Servants of the Emperor gazed at her with fear.
'If anyone wants to stop me, then do it now', she said. 'If not I will take over this place, and wait for Kisu to return with a story about this creature,' she closed her eyes for a few seconds. 'You there!' she pointed at a servant.'Send a letter to Tah, regent of Nahpui and to Isuki, The Golden Blade. Tell them that if they return to Kaineng they are not welcome. Furthermore send an assassin to eleminate Rayun, leader of the Brotherhood, he can be found in Wajjun. Hurry!' Her body slipped into Kisu's throne...
