Main guild Overclockers Australia [OCAU]
I played PvE and AB until March 2007 when someone told me about RA/TA. Never looked back since, 4v4 is my favorite repeatable part of GW. I have r4 Glad title on my main account, and r3 title on two other accounts (r3 is the Hall of Monuments requirement). About 4 million Balthazar points. I usually GvG or scrim a few times a week. I don't play HvH as I can't see the point of playing with/against mostly AI's in an online game! And I don't play HA because of the inflated egos that hang around there.
GAME SUGGESTIONS
Balthazar Faction Title track
- Use the same method as for the Kurzick/Luxon title. Should be a "no brainer" for the devs.
- And no the new Zaishen title is not what I'm suggesting, as it can be bought by someone with no Balthazar faction!
TA
- 1) A ladder, which I think it could be more popular than the GvG ladder if they could still somehow associate it back to the guilds comprising the party that wins each TA match. eg. 1 point for each player on the wining team goes back to each guilds TA ladder rating or minus 1 point for the loss.
- 2) Remove the auto rollover from RA->TA, keep them isolated, no ladder for RA.
- 3) Make TA 5v5, that would make it unique and promote team builds we have not seen before.
GvG Ladder
- Since the introduction of the Automated Tournaments the GvG ladder is broken. To fix it the Automated Tournament system needs it's own top 100 ladder, and AT wins/losses should have no effect on the general GvG ladder rating. The general GvG ladder should rank guilds by their number of wins minus losses, not by their ability to choose the best rating matches to play or forfeit as it currently does. So the general GvG ladder needs a rework, firstly drop the k value system and simply award/subtract 1 point for a win/loss. Secondly lower the Champion point requirement to rating 1,100. That's about the same number of wins vs losses as it currently requires when you discard the unfair rating boost the AT teams get.
GW2 SUGGESTIONS
PPvP
It would be nice to see a form of PvP that only used the Primary profession skills of each players. The secondary profession skills were disabled for the match. Perhaps a format like a version of Random Arenas.
