For those really overpriced but looks good products.[edit]

I shall review them for you.

Razer Carcharias
Category Headset
Frequency 20-20k Hz
Cord Length 9.84 feet
Sensitivity -37 dB ± 4dB
Wireless No
These headsets looked awesome at first and seemed reasonable, and look very fashionable compared to other headsets. Now, my normal headset have a frequency range between 18hz and 22khz, so I told myself 2hz to 2khz wouldn't make much of a difference. The difference is actually noticeable in music, not in the good way. But for gaming, the sound is actually just right. They're amazing for Counter Strike and Call of Duty. The headphones' padding was actually very comfortable. I might actually think it's legit rabbit fur or something. But either way, they're still comfy. One of the nicest feature this headset has that gamers will love is the lengthy (and I mean LONG) cord. I think it's 9 feet long or so.
Microphone Quality: 8/10 ; Sound Quality: 7/10 ; Price: 8/10 ; Comfort: 9/10
Overall: I give it a strong 8/10. These headsets are strictly made for gamers in mind, not music/audiophiles. The microphone is great quality, but you're really going to need a preamp for the microphone. Otherwise you'll turn up the mic boost on windows and then you'll have slight static. I'm pretty sure some microphone distortion comes from it's rather long cord. There are other headphones that have better quality sound and microphone, but they usually end up looking weird. If looks don't matter, go for some steel series stuff. I heard they were really good.
Recommendability: 70%. If you need a serious gaming headset and don't care about sound quality or 5.1 surround sound headsets, I would say yes. But I'd still highly recommend getting a high quality headphones and a free standing microphone. It's more flexible for the long run.

Sony MDR-V150
Category Headset
Frequency 18-22k Hz
Cord Length 6.75 feet
Sensitivity None
Wireless No
There are some things in life that are just laughably cheap and and yet the best things of all time. I feel like these headphones fit under that category. They cost like nothing and have a wider range of sound than most expensive headphones would.
Everything:15/10
Recommendability: 100%. I've owned these for YEARS, they've fallen apart and broke some pieces and normal stuff from traveling abuse, and yet they still have high fidelity.

Logitech G13 Gameboard
Category Keyboard
Back-lit Yes
Macros 25 Keys
Mechanical No
Wireless No
This is a macroboard. (Basically, a programmable keyboard and commands that will follow your commands as you type it.) My first impression was wow, what the fuck, how does it do everything so amazing for so cheap. I get on WoW, and the first thing it does is switches to the WoW profile where it actually displays my stats on the screen. 531 str, 100 agi, 886 stam, etc. On top of that, I can set the colors to whatever I want. Even manly pink. This board can be programed to have 3 different settings... For each game you set it to. So, for example you can set m1 for emotes, m2 for chat macros, and m3 as your actual control pad. The gameboard even has a joy stick on it. How fucking bad ass. You could even program the stick to work with weapon switching on source. I.E. up is Primary Weapon, Down: Pistol, Left: Knife, Right: Grenade. Like most Logitech products, this one is actually built like a tank. If you suffer from gamer rage, you could throw this at your monitor and it would destroy the monitor and anything behind it.
Features: 8.5/10 ; Price: 9.5/10 ; Comfort: 10/10 (8.5/10 if you're used to mechanical)
Overall: 9/10. It allows you to step up to your game. The thing is, you'll have this next to your keyboard so it's less likely you'll be looking at the LCD screen a lot. If you need a new keyboard, just stick with the Logitech G15 instead. Only one problem I have with it, by default the arrow keys are on the top of the gameboard. This means it does not have a row of keys above the "WASD" keys for skill buttons with in GW, Diablo 2, Diablo 3, WoW, etc. This product is totally worth it for those who actually need and can make a full use out of it. Like chat spamming in Runescape.
Recomendability: 60%. I rarely find myself looking at the screen of the keyboard. My biggest peeve was that there were no buttons above the "standard WASD" position, I'd love to use it for guild wars or diablo 3 skills.

Cyborg R.A.T. 7
Category Mouse
Max DPI 5600 Max
Weight 4.1g
Buttons 6
Wireless No
Obviously, this is a high end, overkill, expensive mouse that most people wouldn't even bother blowing their big bucks on. Many review sites have said that this mouse is the best gaming mouse to ever have. Despite the fact that I've only used the classic Microsoft Wheel Optical mouse, I would have to agree that this is actually one of the best gaming mice out there. It has your normal 3 buttons and 5 extra ones which each have their own functionality. By default, two of them is forwards and backwards (like in web browsing) which is actually cool. There is a button that actually lowers the DPI of the mouse accordingly how you have set it with the software. So if I'm running 800 DPI, I can reduce it down by 50% to 400 DPI. EXCELLENT on CoD:MW2. Of course, I'm always called a hacker. One brilliant thing about this "rat" that no other mice have is the fact that it IS fully customizable. Like a penis, you can make it longer, smaller, heavier, lighter. I was skeptical about the looks, I thought the damn thing would break. Turns out it's built like a tank like infamous Nokia phone. It has everything that a normal player would need and works in any situations including photoshop. It dual infrared sensors. So it's very percise and will work on almost any surface. It has a retarded 5600 DPI high... DPI. Of course it can be turned down with the software panel included. As a mater of fact, you can change your DPI on the fly with the mouse. This mouse sounds amazing, right? The only catch is, it's not a razar deathadder. So, no, it does not have 15 buttons on the side for macros. But, honestly, I really don't see the neccesity in needing a mouse with many buttons on it when you can buy macro-boards or other keyboards with macros.
Features: 9/10 ; Price: 8.5/10. ; Comfort: 9/10.
Overall: 9/10 It's a great mouse, but only those who area really justified in needing one or having extra cash but not knowing what to blow it on should get one. The biggest issue with this mouse is the drivers and software. It sometimes randomly makes your mouse stutter all over the screen. It will fix itself after two seconds, but sometimes this becomes very annoying when playing games or photoshoping. I took off a point in comfort because of the fact that even without the weights, the mouse is still much heavier than most mice; as well as a point in features for it's terrible drivers and software.
Recomendability: 50-80%. It really varies on the user. I didn't like it because even without the weights, it still was hard on my hand and the drivers are really shitty. You really have to find a mouse that -fits- you more than anything. For me, I'm just going to stick with the mouse I grew up with.

Logitech K750 Keyboard
Category Keyboard
Back-lit No
Macros None
Mechanical No
Wireless Yes
Right off the bat I can easily say that everyone who have or has used a wireless keyboard in the past has once gotten owned in mid combat because the fucking batteries died, then they had to bomb rush to the pantry/closet/kitchen for batteries, got yelled by their parents for running in the house, hot swapped the batteries, only to loose the match. This keyboard literally will never die. The monitor -at night- will charge the keyboard and keep it alive for 1 month straight while loosing life. The light in your room is insanely powerful enough to recharge this keyboard. It's also very thin and it literally feels mechanic. Though, it's not. If anyone owns or has used a new mac keyboard. Same feel, just add solar power and remove the bluetooth option.
Features: 8/10. ; Price: 9/10. ; Comfort: 9.5/10
Overall: 8.5/10. Excellent keyboard. Very simple looking. Sleek. It's fucking solar powered, the first one too. It has a very amazing tactile feel to the keys. It's a easily recommendable keyboard, when the conditions meet. This keyboard actually has quite a few drawbacks, and they're big ones. The keyboard is solar powered which can be a problem for basement dwellers or people who hate light. The second issue is that the wireless receiver has a weak signal than one would think. It's advertised a 2.4GHz wireless to reach 20 feet. What it fails to mention is that it has to be in clear line of sight. Most people will have these receivers plugged up into the back, and that's enough to cause connection problems. I'd like to see this with a better receiver or even bluetooth. But when the conditions meet, this keyboard easily becomes one of the nicest keyboards you'll ever own.
Recommendability: 85%. Like the mouse, the keyboard has to fit the person too. But I would easily say that this keyboard won't satisfy those bulky (and/or mechanical) keyboard lovers, but it's still a great buy because of the solar powered capabilities and strong signal when done right. It also makes your battle-station look classy, clean, and simple.

Corsair K90 Keyboard
Category Keyboard
Back-lit Yes
Macros 18 Keys
Mechanical Yes
Wireless No
Corsair is generally known for selling very decent quality products for a very decent prices. The K90 Mechanical Keyboard stands out strong under this category. It is a combination practically rare in the mechanical keyboard world: Backlit, mechanical, and media control all smashed into a keyboard. This keyboard has to be the most comfortable thing I have ever used since the IBM Model M. It even comes with 18 programmable macros for those who desire them. To my surprise, it actually comes with a pass through USB connector with a dedicated port. So this easily allows people to plug in USB devices and use them to the full power. (I'm pretty sure it's just USB 2.0 right now) The big thing that's odd is that only the keyboard, num pad, and arrow keys are mechanical. The F keys, the macros, and the misc buttons are actually rubber dome.
Features: 8/10. ; Price: 9/10. ; Comfort: 10/10
Overall: 9.5/10. This is a very reasonable priced keyboard for it's features. There are mechanical keyboards that are just mechanical only without any bells and whistles that actually cost more than this keyboard alone. If you absolutely need a backlit mechanical keyboard for gaming and still can use it for other things with ease, this keyboard is the way to go. It still is pricey, but you have to justify the price by comparing them to other options out there. (Don't forget to actually try out the feel first, it might not be for everyone)
Recommendability: 0%. Actually, this is kinda funny. Corsair just released an upgraded version of this keyboard which offers a fully mechanical layout (Corsair K95) as well as a fully mechanical one without macro buttons (K70).

Corsair K95 Keyboard
Category Keyboard
Back-lit Yes
Macros 18 Keys
Mechanical Yes
Wireless No
I got drunk one night playing Skyrim and accidentally hit over the bottle of Tequila all over my K90 and destroyed my keyboard completely, cried for 2 actual hours straight, and bought a K95 as a drunk purchase. Everything about the above review applies to this one. The only difference is: FULLY MECHANICAL and it has white black lighting. The white black lighting is insanely bright. The 33% on K95 is the 100% on the K90. It's bright, but it's visible/readable.
Features: 8.5/10. ; Price: 8.5/10 ; Comfort: 10/10
Overall; Realistically, it's just the same as the K90 except fully mechanical and has a white backlight. In fact, I don't even think you can get the K90 anymore.
Recommendability: 0%. I REALLY like this keyboard, but there are a couple of problems. 1) Many reviews say the backlights fail instantly. 2) I never find myself needing to use the macros. 3) They already released newer ones with full RGB backlights.
Update: After owning the keyboard for a year, about 40% of the backlights have failed on the board. The K95 is less rageproof than the K90 was, because if you smash it hard enough, the buttons will start tweaking out until you smash it even harder to fix it.
